FUTURE OUTSTANDING EVENTS Chicken-Q:  September 18  The Great Georgia Airshow: October 9-10 KIWANIS CLUB SATELLITE The Board of Directors of The Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City has accepted a new service project for the Club Satellite. We will be assisting at the Canongate-on-White Oak Golf Tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society on August 4, 2010 Details of the event and our participation will be discussed at the Club Satellite meeting this Wednesday, July 28 at 5:30 pm, at the Wyndham. Hope to see you Wednesday! 2010 MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONIES Each year we recognize those who gave their lives for our country.  Our Club, along with the City of Peachtree City and the VFW, celebrate this occasion with a golf cart procession from the Gathering Place to City Hall Plaza, followed by patriotic music and guest speakers.  Students also read their winning essays on what the day means to them.   Approximately 1000 people attend the event after which refreshments are served.  To see additional photos from the 2010 Ceremonies, click on Service Projects above, then Memorial Day.   Please check out other Kiwanis news by clicking on "News Items" above!
