25th ANNUAL ART & MUSIC SHOWCASE
We are searching for hidden artistic and musicical talent among our Fayette County students. What better way to accomplish that goal than to host a competeitive showcase. Compete against your own age group and grade levels. Students from Fayette County schools, private schools or home-schooled students are eligible for participation. Over $4000 in cash prizes will be awarded. Art submittals will be judged on Thursday, March 4th with music auditions scheduled for Saturday, March 6th. Final talent competition takes place at The Bridge Community Center on Monday, March 22nd. Applications and contest rules can be picked up at your school or the Peachtree City Library. 2010 PANCAKE SATURDAY
Despite nippy, wet weather we served nearly 2600 people at our January 30th event. We thank all those people that attended. Based on all the comments we received everyone had a great time. Come back soon to see pictures of the happy crowd!
2010 GOLF TOURNAMENT
Great golfing weather is just around the corner. It won't be long before the azaleas will be blooming again. Why not make plans now to participate in one of the area's best golf tournaments....the Pat Patterson Golf Classic sponsored by our club. The tournament will be held at the Planterra Ridge Golf Club on Wednesday, April 21st. Over $2200 in prizes, plus Hole-In-One Prizes from AirTran, Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta, Golf Rider Inc. and Peachtree City Golf Cars. There are also numerous door prizes, plus a silent auction. New club officers were recently installed for the 2009-2010 Kiwanis year.
